Medical Care for Remote Himalayan Villages

Bridging the Healthcare Gap through Community.

Snow Leopard International Medicine (SLIM) brings expert medical care directly to the most remote corners of the Himalayas.

Our mission is built on the belief that medical intent can overcome environmental challenges, ensuring no village or family is left behind.

Our four pillars of impact

How SLIM Delivers Medical Care to the Community

We close the gap between geographic isolation and basic healthcare rights through reliable clinical presence in the Khumbu region.

Free Medical Access

We remove financial barriers by providing consultations and medicine at zero cost to villagers.

Livelihood and Education

We improve local lives by teaching preventative health and hygiene alongside clinical treatment.

Sustainable Solutions

We develop medical models designed specifically for local communities, ensuring long-term stability.

Cultural Respect

We honor traditional Himalayan heritage and integrate our services into the local way of life.

The Mediloop™

Reliable Follow-Up Care for Every Patient

Unlike "one-off" medical pop-ups that leave patients stranded, the MediLoop™ is a permanent, cyclical medical circuit. Our 200-day mission ensures every patient receives immediate treatment followed by reliable, long-term care.

Local residents act as our eyes and ears, helping us identify who needs care before the doctor even arrives.

The West Loop

Covers 19.5 km and serves Deboche, Tengboche, Phortse, and Nauche with frontline care.

The Base: Pangboche

Located at 3,985 m, this central hub supports medicine distribution and patient recovery.

The East Loop

Extends 21 km and serves Khumjung, Khunde, Thamo, and Thame.

Patients know exactly when the doctor will return.

Where presence becomes medicine…

Snow Leopard International Medicine affirms that healthcare failure in extreme environments is caused not by the lack of intent, but rather by absence.

Disciplined, repeated presence, restores trust, continuity, and outcomes where infrastructural alone cannot.
